According to State House reports, Museveni received his booster jab on Tuesday 4th January, 2022 while in his home in Kiruhuura district.

While the increasing  numbers of Covid-19 infections rise to 880 new cases as of 4th January 2022, President Museveni -77 years old, urges especially those above 50 to take the jab. Those below 50 but with diabetes, blood pressure and cancers among other to care about diseases were also encouraged to take the booster jab.
